Printek is pleased to
announce another success story for the PrintMaster 850. A Printek distributor
has landed a deal with a major home health care provider for up to 70+ PM850's.
This company plans to buy PM850's to replace their current inventory of
Tally 2130/24's. Service and reliability issues were two of the main reasons
this company decided to replace the Tally printers with PM850's. They felt
that the duty cycle and reliability of the 850 was far superior to that
of the Tally 2130/24.
The people involved in the decision making had a concern when it came to pricing on the PM850, but after they compared the cost of consumables between the two printer lines, and saw, via a demonstration, the significant differences in ease of use and durability, purchasing the PM850 was a done deal.
This home health care
provider is already familiar with Printek, currently owning 175 FormsPro
4000 Series printers all over the country. Purchasing the PM850 wasn't
a tough decision, based on the past history they've had with their other
Printek printers. A current end-user is quoted as saying, "We love
our new PM850's. They're unbelievably quiet, and they work like a champ!"
As of February 2002, they have already received 15+ PM850's, with more
on the way.
