New Next Gen FP5100 Series Printer
Faster, Easier-to-use, and a Quieter Multi-Part Forms Printer
St. Joseph, MI — PrintekMobile, an industry leader forreliable and innovativematrix printers, has announced the launch of its NEW and updated FormsPro 5100 printer series. The FormsPro 5100 series (FP5100) is a newly designed and updated matrix printer built off the success of the prior FP5000 series. The new FP5100 series printers are designed for heavy-duty printing in industrial or office environments where multi-part forms printing are a regular part of daily business operations. New features that stand out with the FP5100 series include: faster print speeds of 960 cps; long-life heavy-duty print heads that are rated at 750 million characters; are available with a host of connectivity options; can handle workloads of up to 50,000 pages per month, and are up to 10% quieter than previous models.
Just like previous models, the FP5100 series comes in two versions, depending on number of tractors. The FP5100 is a single tractor printer for continuous paper with a straight paper path, while the FP5102 has an additional push tractor in the front. Both tractors allow for printing up to 7 part forms (1 + 6 copies).
The new FP5100 series takes into consideration the need for quieter operation with a 10% reduction in noise, and the new design of the printer utilizes dual friction paper feed, so the forms or paper are gripped on both sides for cleaner paper handling. A new metal tear bar allows for minimized paper or forms waste. The FP5100 series will work well in a variety of environments ranging from warehouse and factory floors to companies wanting to print complex forms. A variety of interfaces allow the FP5100 series printers to fit well and easily into many applications and environments.
